Lochlyn McClure was born in Austin, Texas but also spent some parts of her childhood in Georgia where she always loved playing outdoors as well as consuming and making stories about fantasy worlds. She currently lives in Denton, Texas pursuing two degrees: a BFA in Studio Art with a Concentration in Printmaking and a BS in Ecology for Environmental Science. While she once wanted to go into Entomology, Printmaking will never let her heart go, nor her time. Her background studying ecology now primarily serves as an inspiration for her work and as fuel to create art that educates and advocates for the natural world.
